Paul Robinson Obituary, Death – Worcester Community Mourns Beloved Owner of Robinson Stables

Paul L. Robinson, 83, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on September 9, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories for his loved ones and the many people who knew him through his work and connection to the Worcester community. His passing has also been publicly listed through Heller & Skinner Funeral Home in Worcester.

Born on February 4, 1943, in Schenevus, Paul was the son of Kenneth H. and Mary (Morrell) Robinson. He grew up in Worcester, where he became involved in several aspects of community life from an early age.

During his working years, Paul served as a Realtor and also worked as the Town Constable. However, he became especially well known for Robinson Stables, the farm he owned and operated for many years.

Robinson Stables became a destination for visitors from across the country and beyond. Under Paul’s care, the property offered a variety of activities and experiences, including trail rides, 4-H campouts, covered wagon rides, farm weddings, and horse-and-carriage rides for weddings and other special occasions.

The farm was also home to a large petting zoo that at one point included more than 200 animals. For many local families, memories of Robinson Stables were tied to special seasonal events, including Christmas parades where children and community members could see Santa riding alongside Paul and his team of horses.

By the time he retired, Paul was caring for approximately 60 horses at the farm, reflecting the deep connection he had developed with the animals and the property over the years.

Paul’s life was also centered around his family. He is survived by his children, Frank Robinson, John Robinson, Kathy Robinson, Louise Brierton, Dustin Robinson, and Jeffrey Robinson and his wife, Sara. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Robinson; grandson Ethan Robinson; and siblings Marie Robinson, Warren Robinson, and Anna Nelson.

Those who knew Paul are now remembering the years he spent building a place where families, visitors, riders, and animal lovers could gather and create lasting memories. His work at Robinson Stables became an important part of his legacy and connected him with people well beyond his immediate community.

A celebration of life for Paul L. Robinson will be announced at a later date. Additional arrangements and expressions of sympathy are being handled through Heller & Skinner Funeral Home in Worcester.
